Reminder to ResidentsFYI: Please be aware that it is against the law to snow blow or plow any amount of snow in the Town streets after the streets/roads have been cleared by the plows. This is a road hazard and safety concern for all vehicles. Thank you for your cooperation. |

2024 Brush CardsDear Town of Clay Resident: For the calendar year 2024, your brush will be picked up each week by Superior Waste Removal under contract with the Town of Clay. Holiday Pick-up: The weeks of Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving- if your collection day falls on or after an observed holiday your collection day will be the day after the normal pick-up day and will return to normal schedule the following week. Unless otherwise noted all other holidays will remain on regular schedule. Holidays that fall on the weekend will not be observed during the week.
Items that will not be collected include: pumpkins, rocks, rubbish, refuse, recyclables, landscaping fabric, construction materials, furniture, appliances, sinks, tubs, white goods, carpet and other appliances, tires, batteries, automobile parts, or brush from other districts. Any of these items mistakenly left at the curb will not be picked up and according to Town regulations, must be removed from the street side before 6 p.m. on collection day. Please remember, should you have any of these items or any other service requests feel free to contact us for a quote.
Most questions or complaints can be handled directly with Superior Waste Removal at (315) 672-3174 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Please leave a message if prompted. Districts 1 & 6 Brush CollectionLeaf Pick-up for Districts 1 and 6 only is held twice each year as follows: The first three (3) days in May and October. Please have your yard debris at the roadside on Sunday evening of those weeks for pick-up. Both loose and bagged leaves will be picked up by the Highway Department once during this time. Please contact the Highway Department if you have any questions. Thank you for your cooperation. |
