TOWN OF CLAY LEGAL NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Clay will hold a Public Hearing on April 6, 2026, commencing at 7:38 P.M., local time, to consider proposed LOCAL LAW NO. 4 OF THE YEAR 2026, for the adoption of a Temporary Moratorium for all applications/approvals related to battery storage systems in Clay pending a study on the subject and the potential adoption of a new Local Law governing related applications. At such time all persons interested will be given an opportunity to be heard.

TOWN OF CLAY LEGAL NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Clay will hold a Public Hearing on April 6, 2026, commencing at 7:35 P.M., local time, to consider Town Board Case #1246: SWEETHEART CORNER REDEVELOPMENT for a Zone Change from R-10 One-Family Residential District to RC-1 Regional Commercial District to allow for proposed construction of two commercial structures on property located at 102 ½ Wally Road, Tax Map No. 117.-10-26.0 consisting of +/- .35 acres of land. At such time all persons interested will be given an opportunity to be heard.

PLANNING BOARD HEARINGS: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN; that the Regular Meeting of the Planning Board, of the Town of Clay, will be held on March 18, 2026.  The pre-agenda meeting begins at 7:00 P.M. and public hearings start at 7:30 P.M., at the Clay Town Hall, 4401 State Route 31, Clay, New York pursuant to applicable provisions of the Town of Clay Zoning Ordinance to consider the following:

Case #2026-013 – for a PRELIMINARY PLAT - application by Scott Merle Builders/Mauro Subdivision, to subdivide two existing parcels totaling 4.037-acres into four new parcels (Lot #1 = 0.844-acres, Lot #2 = 0.905-acres, Lot #3 = 1.114-acres and Lot #4 = 1.144-acres). Pursuant to the provisions of sections 276 and 277 of the Town Law of the State of New York, and pursuant to the applicable provisions of the Town of Clay subdivision regulations and, if applicable, for a modification of the zoning code of the Town of Clay Pursuant to the provisions of Section 278 of the Town Law of the State of New York.  The property which is the subject of this application is located at 4095 & 4101 Elmcrest Road, Tax ID’s #093.-03-45.0 and #093.-03-46.0. The property is in the One-Family Residential (R-7.5) Zoning District.

Case #2026-015 – for a SITE PLAN application by VFW Post No. 951, for construction of a 2,160 square-foot pavilion and associated parking.  No changes are proposed to the existing building, lighting, or signage.  The property, which is the subject of this application, is located at 5366 Caughdenoy Road, Tax Map #079.-01-05.1, and located in the Residential Agricultural (RA-100) Zoning District.

Case #2026-017 – for a SPECIAL PERMIT application by Park Ridge TLE, LLC, pursuant to Section 230-15 B.(2)(c)[2] – Day-care Center, to allow for the development of a 10,000 square-foot, single-story building with a 5,000 square-foot outdoor play area for use as a Day Care Facility.  The proposal includes a sidewalk around the building, a six-foot white vinyl fence enclosing the play area, and landscaping to buffer views. The property, which is the subject of this application, is located at 8233 Park Ridge Path, Tax Map #067.-11-01.1 and located in the Office (O-2) Zoning District.

Case #2026-018 – for an AMENDED SITE PLAN application by Park Ridge TLE, LLC/The Learning Experience for development of a 10,000 square-foot, single-story day care facility.  The site was previously approved for a 10,000 square-foot office building that was never constructed.  The applicant now proposes to construct the day care facility with a 5,000 square-foot outdoor play area in place of the previously approved building at the rear of the site.  The property which is the subject of this application is located at 8233 Park Ridge Path, Tax Map #067.-11-01.1 and located in the Office (O-2) Zoning District.

Case #2026-019 – for an AMENDED SITE PLAN application by Goguen Drive Realty/7835 Goguen Drive Contractors Service Yard Amendment for installation of a 1,000-gallon fuel tank and the temporary storage of fuel tanks when not in use, as permitted by the Town Board Special Permit (Case #1220).  No other changes are proposed to the previously approved contractor’s service yard on the site.  The property which is the subject of this application is located at 7835 Goguen Drive, Tax Map #087.-01-08.1 and located in the Industrial I (I-1) Zoning District.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Clay will hold a Public Hearing on March 16, 2026, commencing at 7:44 P.M., local time, to solicit from Town of Clay residents their comments and input regarding the use of funds by the Town of Clay with respect to the applications for funding and for the five (5) year plan, filed with ONONDAGA COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT for the year 2026. At such time all persons interested will be given an opportunity to be heard.
