ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Clay, New York on March 9, 2026, will hold a pre-agenda meeting at 5:30 P.M. in the Jury Room, followed by the Regular Meeting, public hearings beginning at 6:00 P.M., at the Clay Town Hall, 4401 State Route 31, Clay, New York, on the following matters:

Case #1998 – Michael J. Taylor, 8111 Maple Road, Tax Map #076.-01-02.0.  The applicant is seeking Area Variances pursuant to Section 230-13 A.(4) – Lot and Structure Dimensional Requirements, for a reduction in the front yard setback from 75 feet to 72 feet; and for a reduction in the side yard setback from 25 feet to 17 feet to allow construction of a new 12 x 24-foot addition to the northwest side of the existing residence.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Clay will hold a Public Hearing on March 16, 2026, commencing at 7:44 P.M., local time, to solicit from Town of Clay residents their comments and input regarding the use of funds by the Town of Clay with respect to the applications for funding and for the five (5) year plan, filed with ONONDAGA COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT for the year 2026. At such time all persons interested will be given an opportunity to be heard.

Public Hearing Notice: LOCAL LAW NO. 3 OF THE YEAR 2026 - 03/16/2026 @ 7:41 P.M.

TOWN OF CLAY LEGAL NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Clay will hold a Public Hearing on March 16, 2026, commencing at 7:41 P.M., local time, to consider proposed LOCAL LAW NO. 3 OF THE YEAR 2026, to amend Town Code, Section 230-16 - Commercial Districts, B.  HC-1 Highway Commercial (b)(2) Uses Allowed: item (6) Shopping Center, to add the requirement of the issuance of a Special Permit from the Town Board pursuant to Town Code Section 230-27 (Special Permit Review) for the following use within a Shopping Center: (e)[15] Gasoline Service Station. At such time all persons interested will be given an opportunity to be heard.

Public Hearing Notice: LOCAL LAW NO. 2 OF THE YEAR 2026 - 03/16/2026 @ 7:38 P.M.

TOWN OF CLAY LEGAL NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Clay will hold a Public Hearing on March 16, 2026, commencing at 7:38 P.M., local time, to consider proposed LOCAL LAW NO. 2 OF THE YEAR 2026, amending Section 152-4 H. – Prohibited Noises, to add: Noise from construction and demolition activity in Industrial 2 (I-2) Districts is exempt from this section, and this section does not apply to activity in Industrial 2 (I-2) zones. Previous Local Law No. 3 of the year 2024, was inadvertently passed under Section 154-4 H., which does not exist. Proposed Local Law No. 2 of the year 2026 is only to change Section 154-4 H. to Section 152-4 H. At such time all persons interested will be given an opportunity to be heard.
